Importance of Bonnie in the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise

Bonnie, the blue bunny animatronic, has been an iconic character in the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise since its inception. Alongside Freddy Fazbear and Chica, Bonnie has appeared in various games, merchandise, and has become a fan favorite over the years. His disappearance in the Security Breach game left fans wondering about his fate, and the Ruin DLC gives us some closure, although it is a bleak one.

In the Ruin DLC, Bonnie is present, but only as a lifeless corpse. There is no active role for Bonnie in the game, and he does not stalk the dark corridors of the Pizzaplex like the other animatronics. Instead, players can find his remains behind a yellow Bonnie Bowl sign, branded with Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzaplex logo.

Unfortunately, Bonnie’s body is in a state of disrepair, with a large hole in his stomach, seemingly abandoned and forgotten. The presence of his lifeless body points to a tragic incident that occurred within the game’s universe.
